Lawrence Hohnjec

Managing Director

Lawrence founded Finmax in 1998 and has over 25 years’ experience in vehicle and equipment finance. Beginning his career in sales at Xerox Canada, he quickly developed a focus on helping businesses access the right financial solutions.

He has built strong relationships with clients, lenders, dealers, and suppliers, delivering tailored finance solutions across Australia. Passionate about making finance simple, Lawrence embraces Finmax’s philosophy, “We make it easy,” ensuring clients can focus on their business while he handles the complexity. Outside work, he enjoys cars and motorcycles and is committed to professional, people-focused service.

Vincent Liow

Director of Operations

Vincent has over five years’ experience at Finmax, specialising in complex vehicle and equipment finance solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science and brings strong expertise in credit assessment and lender negotiation, supported by a deep understanding of lender requirements.

Working closely with clients, Vincent manages finance applications efficiently from start to settlement. Calm, methodical, and solutions-focused, he values long-term relationships over transactions and is committed to delivering clear, practical finance outcomes for every client.

Coralee Neville

Director

Coralee brings extensive experience in banking and finance across Australia and Canada, with a background that includes roles at ANZ, Bank of Melbourne, and CIBC. Her experience spans vehicle and equipment finance operations, novated leasing settlements, and fleet management for large organisations, providing a strong foundation in regulated financial environments.

At Finmax, Coralee oversees ongoing customer relationships and ensures a seamless client experience. She manages settlements, vehicle and equipment finance operations, and supports fleet management, balancing operational excellence with attentive, client-focused service.

Dougal Everingham

Principle IT Consultant

Dougal has over 20 years’ experience across IT and technology in sectors including finance, manufacturing, government, and health. He brings deep expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, email systems, and website management, providing practical solutions to complex technology challenges.

He contributes to Finmax by supporting IT systems, and maintaining security. Known for his problem-solving skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, Dougal helps ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology for the business.
